Key Responsibilities

Provide Professional estimating services on mitigation and reconstruction job sites using Xactimate estimating platform

Provides detailed, line-item scope and estimate for items within the project that are uncertain and need further investigation

Identifies general project requirements and/or constraints to bring the structure and contents to pre-loss conditions

Documents all dimensions, diagrams, and images of each room or section

Identifies and documents all tasks that must be performed in each room or section; what will not be part of your scope of work

Reviews project requirements ( National Account bulletins, Insurance company requirements, local agreements) that may be applicable to the project

Position Requirements

Minimum 1 – 2 years experience required in claims management and/or estimating

Xactimate and SERVPRO Time and Materials proficiency, a plus

Ability to travel as needed, Valid driver’s license

High school diploma/GED

Bachelor’s Degree, Business Administration, or relevant field preferred

Experience in estimating large commercial projects, a plus

Intermediate problem-solving skills including proper scope of work, and general constraints to bring the structure and contents

Detail oriented with an emphasis on project management, building codes, and documentation of all areas of project management

Skills/Physical Demands/Competencies

Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance

Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, work in confined (e.g., crawl spaces, attics)

Must be comfortable working with bodily fluid/blood-borne pathogens as necessary

This position requires some sitting for extended periods of time

Construction/demolition experience helpful

Proficiency in basic math and computer skills
