Job Description
Our mission at Etsy is to ‘keep commerce human’ and we work to bring that to life across both our marketplace and our workplace. Our team enables millions of buyers to connect with creative entrepreneurs around the world. We are seeking an exceptional ERG Program Manager to be accountable for our existing Employee Resource Group program at Etsy, and to build a thriving ERG program at our music marketplace subsidiary, Reverb, based in Chicago. ERG programs are a key component of our DEI programming, and we believe expanding the support we provide ERG leaders will continue to improve their careers and provide even greater impact for ERG communities.
Our DEI program mission is to make Etsy a place where employees from all ages, backgrounds, and abilities can come, stay, and thrive. We’ve experienced major shifts in our ways of working in 2020 as we’ve settled into a new normal and continue to work from home. We are excited to expand our ERG program to be even more inclusive and effective as a positive contributor to the Etsy employee experience, wherever people may be working from!
Our DEI team contributes to Etsy’s Impact work, which is a core component of Etsy’s mission and strategy. At Etsy, Impact focuses on three main pillars - economic empowerment, social impact and ecological impact, and DEI work and our ERG program sits within the “social impact” pillar. We love that this work is embedded across teams, and so it requires alignment and coordination to ensure maximum impact! You can learn more about our strategy and public commitments here.
You will be part of the global Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion team at Etsy, and will partner closely with the Sr. Manager, DEI Programs, and Head of DEI. You will also work closely with other leaders across multiple functions, including HR, Talent, Workplace, Corporate Engineering, Advocacy, and Sustainability at Etsy.
This role will be located in the Brooklyn Office (Open to other locations but willingness to travel to NYC & Chicago are a must).
