Job Title: Evening Childcare Provider Location: Detroit, MI 48227 Schedule: 3:00 PM - 12:00 AM Hourly Rate: $13 - $15 per hour

Job Description: We are seeking a compassionate, reliable, and dedicated childcare provider to assist with caring for children during evening hours. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment, promoting fun, educational activities, and assisting with evening routines.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and engage children in age-appropriate activities (play, crafts, reading, etc.)

Assist with homework, light tutoring, or skill-building exercises

Prepare and serve dinner and snacks, ensuring dietary restrictions are followed

Ensure children’s safety at all times, indoors and outdoors

Assist with bedtime routines, including baths, changing, and storytime

Provide emotional support and comfort as needed

Maintain a clean and organized environment

Communicate with parents about the child’s daily activities, behavior, and any issues or concerns

Requirements:

Prior experience in childcare, babysitting, or a related field

CPR and First Aid certification (preferred, but not required)

Patience, reliability, and a positive attitude

Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy environment

Ability to build rapport and connect with children

Must be comfortable working independently and as part of a family team

Must be able to pass a background check
