About the Role
B.A.R.E. Truth Inc. is seeking a dependable and mission-driven Evening/Night Site Supervisor to lead and support our Client Engagement Support Staff during evening and overnight shifts. This role is critical in maintaining the safety, structure, and continuity of services offered to individuals transitioning out of homelessness. The Site Supervisor ensures that program standards are upheld, client needs are met, and staff are operating efficiently and respectfully. This individual must be available to rotate between shifts and will serve as the senior on-site lead during non-daytime hours.
Key Responsibilities
Staff Supervision & Support
Provide direct supervision and leadership to evening and overnight staff, ensuring consistent enforcement of protocols and program expectations.
Conduct daily shift briefings, monitor staff performance, and ensure adequate shift coverage.
Support onboarding and provide ongoing staff training, including regular instruction on cleaning procedures and client interaction protocols.
Facility Oversight & Cleaning Standards
Ensure that daily cleaning responsibilities are completed according to program expectations.
Train staff on proper sanitation protocols and oversee compliance to ensure a clean, safe, and dignified environment for all clients.
Monitor facilities, conduct room checks, and promptly report maintenance or safety concerns.
Client Engagement & Crisis Management
Serve as a first responder to client concerns, disputes, or behavioral challenges during evening and night hours.
Promote trauma-informed engagement and support staff in managing interactions with respect, professionalism, and empathy.
Ensure that meals and basic services (laundry, hygiene items, supplies) are distributed as scheduled.
Program Coordination & Reporting
Complete shift reports, document incidents, and ensure proper handoff to daytime case managers and supervisors.
Collaborate with leadership to address recurring issues, enhance service delivery, and implement new protocols.
Act as a liaison between shifts to ensure continuity and communication across program operations.
Technology & Administrative Tools
Utilize Microsoft Office applications and internal databases to maintain logs, generate reports, and communicate updates.
Ensure that all required documentation is completed accurately and in a timely manner.
Support staff in using technology platforms relevant to client engagement, scheduling, and reporting.
Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in social services, housing navigation, or a related field, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or lead role.
High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree in social work, human services, or a related field preferred.
Experience working with populations experiencing homelessness or housing instability.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
Knowledge of trauma-informed care, harm reduction, and crisis de-escalation.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and comfortable using mobile devices, shared drive systems, and reporting software.
Flexibility to work rotating evening, night, and weekend shifts as needed.
