Job Description
Summary
a. Responsible for front of the house operations involved with an Arena event.
b. Ensures all needs related to Arena event requirements are met in order to produce consistently successful outcomes.
Duties and Responsibilities:
a. Manages a team to ensure that front of the house operations including, but not limited to, ticket taking, event set-up and Box Office communications are in place and functioning efficient according to the schedule set by event booking.
b. Responsible for all artist requirements as outlined in Artist Riders relating to hospitality requests and lodging (this includes, but is not limited to, hotel reservations, artist room fulfillments, artist room set-up and maintenance, tour crew special requests, artist security, etc.).
c. Responsible for procuring security and emergency personnel, uniform requests and equipment rental needs required for each event. This may include the need to meet and negotiate with third party entities for outsourced staffing.
d. Coordinates Ushers and other personnel to ensure safe, efficient operations before, during and following scheduled Arena events.
e. Based on booking orders, manages the team to ensure that event set-up functions in an organized and professional manner.
f. Maintain positive relationships with Box Office, Sales, Casino Marketing, other departments and with outside vendors, promoters, etc.
g. Match capabilities of subordinates accurately with assignments; investigate all reports of laxity of performance of duty or violation of department/company rules of any subordinate.
Maintain a high level of communication with Marketing Manager, management team and team members to ensure that all Arena team members are informed about daily promotions and events as well as other company related news.
i. Schedules team members and assigns tasks based on event bookings.
j. Manages operational supplies and inventories for the department, meet with various entities to negotiate outsourced staffing.
k. Works closely with Box Office and Sales to ensure information on ticketing and sales is accurate and current. Assist with the reconciliation of all financial reporting for Arena events.
l. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Outlook).
m. Ensure that superior guest service is delivered consistently. Must be a role model for team members in this area.
n. Must have the ability to multi-task and have excellent decision making skills.
o. May be required to perform duties outside of normal job description when it is in the best interests of efficiency, productivity and customer service.
Qualifications
Minimum three (3) years’ experience.
