    Memoir Agency aims to bring meaning to every place and moment. To do that, we are looking for tenacious, collaborative, and passionate people to join the staff for our 2024-25 season for our flagship event Dazzling Nights (https://www.dazzlingorlando.com/).     Position: Event Photographer

    Position Overview:

    • Event Photographer will provide photographer services for Dazzling Nights at Harry P Leu Gardens.
    • Event Photographer will provide excellent guest services to ensure Memoir quality standards are met by helping with customer service and ticketing issues.
    • Event Photographer will be responsible for the daily opening and closing procedures relevant to their area
    • Event Photographer will help promote event safety by monitoring attendees for signs of disruptive behavior, like excessive intoxication, potential environmental hazards (tripping) and escalating issues to management as necessary.
    • Event Photographer will answer a variety of guest questions, and must be knowledgeable about real time aspects of the event, providing the most accurate and up to date information possible.
    • Event Photographer will agree to the following deliverables listed below, which shall each be a material term of Photographer’s agreement with the Company for the Activity:
    • Event Photographer will manage event staff at the photo opportunity
    • Event Photographer will manage the guest experience at the photo opportunity
    • Event Photographer will photograph guests at the photo opportunity area
    • Event Photographer will print guest photos and deliver to guest
    • Event Photographer will maintain photo systems, photo area and inventory
    • Event Photographer will troubleshoot any on-site issues
    • Event Photographer reports to the Event Manager.

    Requirements:

    • Ability to to complete physically demanding tasks, such as standing and/or walking for long periods of time.
    • Ability to work outside in various weather conditions (heat, rain, cold temperatures)
    • Ability to lift objects up to 50 lbs. Reasonable accommodations may be made to allow differently-abled individuals to perform the essential functions of the job.
    • At least one year of experience in a guest-facing role
    • Must be prompt, and be able to work all shifts as assigned.
    • Reliable forms of communication & transportation
    • Staff provide their own attire, with approval (black pants & shirts are recommended. Closed toe shoes are required at all times)
    • Ability to organize, prioritize and execute the operation of the event on a nightly basis per the Event Managers direction.

    The Ideal Candidate:

    • Has photography experience in a fast paced setting
    • Has keen eye for detail to ensure end product is to high standards
    • Possibly has own equipment to bring in for added benefit of end product
    • Has customer service experience, excellent problem solving skills, and an acute attention to detail
    • Is reliable
    • Customer service de-escalation expertise
    • Able to multitask
    • Ability to write and fill out needed documentation
    • Has an outwardly presentable demeanor & attitude
    • Dates: November 25th, 2024- January 5th 2025 (with closure dates)

    Pay Details: Day rate $225. Event staff can expect to work about 25 hours each week of the event. Payments will be made weekly
