    Playing a vital role in the 828 family, the Client Concierge is responsible for working directly with clients to ensure a positive brand image and seamless event experience. The position is also responsible for client and event management through event completion. These responsibilities can include, but are not limited to, coordination sales to client, event day staffing, event coordination, as well as planning and hosting venue marketing and community events. This role will act as the liaison between the Beverage Concierge, and venue level hourly staff, and the Venue Manager to ensure venue packages and service workflows are executed appropriately.

    This position is fast-paced and provides tremendous opportunity for learning and development within the events industry. The Client Concierge will be an integral part of an ambitious team balanced with the freedom to work independently. Effectively communicating in both written and verbal form will be essential in this position. Being detail oriented while having a strong organizational background and comfortability with technology will ensure success in prioritizing and meeting deadlines.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

    **VENUE & EVENT MANAGEMENT: **

    · Sell venue services such as event coordination, scissor lift, photo booth and any other additional venue features; manage and set up appropriate services on event day

    · Venue liaison for clients upon booking and ensure less than a one business day response time to client emails or phone calls

    · Work directly with clients, vendors and guests on event day to address venue related questions or concerns to ensure customer satisfaction and prompt problem resolution

    · Knowledgeable in venue services, operations, and contract terms to ensure event success

    · Compile all necessary forms and documents by event as required by venue contract, venue operations and/or local ordinances

    · Schedule all venue hourly staff using company scheduling platform

    · Onsite for events from load in until scheduled timed of departure

    · Schedule and host venue walkthroughs, private meetings, and rehearsals with clients

    · Organize and host venue community & marketing events, as well as Walk-through Wednesdays

    · Create and finalize detailed event specific BEOs for Event Manager and/or hourly support

    · Partner with the Beverage Concierge to assist with in-person client beverage needs, meetings, tastings, etc.

    · Ensure venue cleanliness prior to and post events

    · Create and compile digital media and document on social media outlets

    · Complete ad hoc requests from Venue Manager and 828 Leadership

    COORDINATION:

    · Create and finalize detailed timelines of applicable client events (rehearsal, event day, load out)

    · Create and finalize event diagrams, including off-site ceremonies

    · Communicate, and confirm services, with client hired vendors

    · On-site representing client and venue from rental start time, until load completion

    · Remain knowledgeable of industry trends, local laws, and competition

    · Check-in, manage, and check-out vendors onsite

    · Host and run ceremonies, both on and off property

    · Manage client rental orders; adjust directly with vendor based on event details

    · Organize shared files to ensure all documents are updated and accurate

    · Host private design and planning meetings

    · Train, manage, and develop Assistant Coordinators and Hourly CC Support

    SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:

    · Event venue or event coordination experience preferred

    · Strong knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices and procedures in an event venue

    · Ability to crowd control, and regularly mediate stressful situations, often involving intoxicated guests

    · Must be at least 21 years of age

    · Availability on evenings, weekends, and Wednesdays (team office day) required

    · Passion for building a great team and ensuring customer satisfaction

    · Google Applications knowledge

    · Embraces new technologies and softwares

    · Strong knowledge of social media platforms

    · Strong written communication skills

    · Ability to troubleshoot problems with immediate resources, multi-task and delegate

    · Ability to recruit, develop, manage and motivate team members

    · Must have reliable transportation, cell phone and working computer

    · Must be able to stand for long periods of time

    · Must wear black, or approved business casual, clothing during events

    · Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds

    · Appropriate and up-to-date local alcohol certification(s) required

    COMPENSATION:

    · Base Salary, paid bi-monthly, determined by experience

    · Position is eligible for monthly incentives

    · Position is eligible for overtime

    · Percentage coverage of company offered health insurance plans

    · Relocation reimbursement is not offered
