We are seeking a talented and organized Event Planning and Social Media Specialist to join our team and take charge of our event planning, management, and social media marketing efforts.

    Job Description: As the Event Planning and Social Media Specialist at O’Neil Software, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing company events, as well as managing our social media presence. You will work closely with various departments to ensure successful event execution and engaging social media content that aligns with our brand and marketing goals.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Event Planning and Management:

    o Plan, coordinate, and manage company events, including trade shows, conferences, product launches, and internal events.

    o Develop and execute event marketing strategies to drive attendance and engagement.

    o Collaborate with vendors, venues, and internal teams to ensure seamless event execution.

    o Create and manage event budgets, timelines, and logistics.

    o Develop and maintain event-related materials such as invitations, programs, and promotional items.

    *** Social Media Management:**

    o Manage the company’s social media accounts, including content creation, scheduling, and engagement.

    o Monitor and analyze social media performance metrics and adjust strategies accordingly.

    o Stay up-to-date with industry trends and incorporate new ideas into social media strategies.

    o Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement social media campaigns that align with overall marketing goals.

    Qualifications:

    Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Event Management, or a related field.

    • Experience: Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in event planning, management, and social media marketing.

    Technical Skills:

    o Proficiency in social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn) and social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer).

    o Experience with event planning software and tools.

    o Strong understanding of marketing principles and strategies.

    Creative Skills:

    o Ability to create engaging and visually appealing social media content.

    o Strong storytelling and copywriting skills.

    o Attention to detail and a keen eye for quality.

    Soft Skills:

    o Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

    o Strong organizational and time management skills.

    o Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

    o Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
