    Reporting To: Event Coordinator/General Manager FLSA Classification: Part-Time

    Job Summary

    Buck & Honey’s is seeking passionate, caring, and hospitality-focused Event Servers to join our team! This role is part-time, and candidates must be available to work evenings and weekends, when our events are commonly scheduled. Candidates must be at least 18 years of age.

    A Buck & Honey’s event server anticipates and fulfills guests’ needs, ensuring a memorable dining experience. With a friendly and enthusiastic attitude, servers deliver exceptional hospitality while representing and acting as ambassadors for the Buck & Honey’s brand.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    Guest Interactions

    Welcome guests warmly and provide a detailed "tour" of menu offerings.

    Make menu recommendations, answer questions, and anticipate guests’ needs.

    Adhere to liquor liability laws and practice responsible beverage service.

    Take orders, deliver food and beverages, and ensure guest satisfaction.

    Maintain cleanliness in all areas, including pre-bussing, detailing, and deep-cleaning.

    Complete daily and weekly side work tasks.

    Collaborate with coworkers as a positive and supportive teammate.

    Order Processing

    Enter orders accurately into the POS system.

    Prepare non-alcoholic beverages and process guest payments.

    Bussing and Table Resetting

    Maintain tables by pre-bussing and refilling beverages.

    Clear tables and unload dishes in the dish or bar areas.

    Sanitize tables, chairs, and surrounding areas.

    Reset tables with proper silverware, napkins, and condiments.

    Housekeeping

    Clean and stock server stations.

    Roll silverware and maintain designated sections.

    Assist with sweeping, mopping, and setting up tables as needed.

    Education and Experience

    Minimum of 1 year of server experience or a similar role.

    Completion of Buck & Honey’s server training (5 shifts required upon hire).

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

    Knowledge of service standards and food/beverage processes.

    Strong communication and customer service skills.

    Ability to work cooperatively as part of a team and independently when needed.

    Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time-management skills.

    Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic restaurant environment.

    Proficiency in restaurant software and applications.

    Must be 18 years or older to serve alcoholic beverages.

    Working Conditions

    Active work requiring standing and walking for up to 8 hours.

    Ability to lift 25-40 lbs. and perform physical tasks such as bending, reaching, and stooping.

    Moderate to loud noise levels typical of a restaurant environment.

    Ability to work outdoors during summer months.
