  • Responsibilities

    • Respond to inbound Leads daily via website inquiry forms, phone calls, emails, drop-ins, etc. • Prepares all event documentation such as BEOs, floor plans, menu cards, signage, invoices, etc. • Coordinates event-specific communication with Sales, Culinary, Restaurant Managers, and Hotel partners • Attends all BEO meetings and maintains event files • Timely and professional client communication to ensure consistent, high-level service throughout the pre-event, event, and post-event phases of property events. • Assist with the execution of events as needed • Creating event proposals and contracts • Assist clients with menu planning • Participates in Site Visits and tours of the spaces • Participate in and prepare information for weekly meetings with other departments • Continue to offer administrative assistance to the Catering Team. Close catering sales, send thank you's, and forward all review feedback • Communicate event-specific information to appropriate vendors and internal partners • Create event packets including timelines, floorplans, supplier info, service directions, and event notes to assure a successful event • Up-sells products and services throughout the event process. Responsibilities: • To ensure seamless and successful events that meet client expectations • Establish and maintain relationships with vendors, suppliers, and clients to negotiate contracts and ensure timely delivery of services • Develop event timelines, budgets, and proposals, and track progress to meet deadlines and financial targets • To stay organized, within budget, and on schedule for successful events • Oversee on-site event operations, and troubleshoot any issues that may arise during events • To guarantee smooth event flow and exceptional guest experiences • Evaluate event success based on attendee feedback, and overall client satisfaction, and implement improvements for future events Qualifications: • High school diploma/GED and three years experience in the restaurant/catering/event management field or related professional area OR 2-year degree from an accredited university in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major; no work experience required • Must have strong verbal and written skills • Computer skills must include Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, and Outlook. Tripleseat, Toast, and OpenTable experience preferred • Highly organized with extreme attention to detail • Flexible and adaptive to change • Ability to thrive and multi-task in a fast-paced environment Compensation: $24 hourly
