EVER EVOLVING EXOTICS IS HIRING! We are looking for a full time position only, weekends required. At Ever Evolving Exotics you will get paid by what you know. The more you know and the more reliable you are, the more you will get paid. Experience is a bonus, we will train you to meet our standards. This job does not consist of playing with animals or standing around talking. Chances of being defecated on, scratched, or bit are guaranteed. We are here to educate and guide new and experienced keepers how to better their animals lives. RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO: Stocking shelves, unpacking dry good shipments, lifting large glass or melamine enclosures, setting up displays, packing customer orders, responding to questions regarding the best products for various species, maintaining extensive knowledge about the habits and characteristics of pets in order to provide effective customer service, daily animal maintenance, misting, keeping enclosures clean watered and fed, maintaining feeder insects and rodents, and general store upkeep. This can be a fast paced work environment, it is important to be able to multitask while helping customers in a kind and professional manner. QUALIFICATIONS: -Excellent attendance is expected. Our animals rely on us to keep them happy and healthy. -Must be able to lift a minimum of 50lbs. -Must be able to tolerate temperatures up to 90F. -Must not have a phobia of rodents, reptiles, amphibians or other invertebrates. -Must be 18 years or older. -Must have a positive customer service attitude. -Must be self-motivated and not need constant supervision. -Must posses a strong attention to detail. -Must have great time management skills. -Must have reliable transportation. -Must be trainable and willing to learn.
