    Job Description

The Evergreen Mentorship Program is looking for mentors who can work with adults over the phone and via videoconference on objectives such as finding employment, building self-confidence, and financial literacy. We serve clients over the age of 18 who struggle with anxiety and depression and need help achieving both short and long-term goals.

This is a contractor position and the candidate will need excellent technology and writing skills. We will assist the qualified candidate to obtain an NPI Number, Medicaid Provider Number, and complete training to become a Qualified Mental Health Professional before beginning the position. Prior experience using Credible or other client case management software is a huge plus.

New mentors are assigned three to five clients when they begin the position. Mentors have the ability to work with each client for up to three hours per week. The time a mentor and client connect are mutually agreed upon. This allows the mentor to have a high degree of time flexibility. Mentors are compensated based on the amount of time they input into our electronic records system. As mentors demonstrate the ability to build rapport, help produce successful outcomes with the client, and support the client in diminishing symptoms related to depression and anxiety, Evergreen will provide the mentor with more clients. The objective is for each mentor to have approximately 15-20 clients and produce 25-35 hours/week, although more hours can be provided by increased caseload, if desired.

If you are passionate about mental health and helping others reach their goals, we would love to hear from you. To learn more about our program, please visit evergreenmentorship.org.
