    JOB DESCRIPTION

    As a Construction Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating mini excavators and skid steers on construction sites. Your primary duties will involve the operation of heavy equipment for excavation, material handling, grading, and other tasks to support construction activities. You will work closely with the project team to ensure the timely and accurate completion of tasks while adhering to all safety guidelines and industry standards.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Operate mini excavators and skid steers to perform excavation, trenching, grading, backfilling, and other related tasks.
    • Ensure the safe and efficient operation of equipment at all times.
    • Perform routine maintenance and inspections of equipment.
    • Work closely with other team members to coordinate tasks and ensure the smooth operation of the construction site.
    • Follow project plans, blueprints, and instructions to complete work according to specifications.
    • Adhere to all safety standards and protocols to minimize risks and accidents.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Proven experience operating a mini excavator and skid steer in a construction setting.
    • Strong knowledge of construction equipment and safety protocols.
    • Ability to read and understand blueprints, construction plans, and site layouts.
    • Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting and carrying heavy materials.
    • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
    • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

    COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

    • $30+ per hour based on experience
