Buffer Insurance is looking for a full-time , in-person Executive Assistant to support the company's internal operations and assist the Leadership team in accelerating its growth. Some tasks include providing administrative support to the leadership team , handling clerical duties , coordinating calendars , and organizing meetings. Throughout all of these interactions, the Executive Assistant must maintain a high level of professionalism and present the organization in the best light possible. A successful will be able to efficiently assist the president in maximizing their time by taking off responsibilities so their focus can remain on growing the company's impact.

Responsibilities:
- Understand the company’s products and service offerings.
- Manage payroll and benefits for employees.
- Maintain Human Resource records for the company.
- Maintain inventory of office supplies and materials.
- Reconcile revenue reports with client accounts.
- Conduct research, compile data, and prepare reports for consideration and presentation by executives.
- Perform basic bookkeeping work, and reconcile credit card and bank statements.
- Make travel arrangements for executives - flights, hotels, and ground transportation.
- Run errands for the Leadership team.
- Assisting in the preparation and execution of events such as conferences, seminars, and corporate retreats.
- Renewing, filing, & applying for state insurance licenses.
- Create and organize educational or promotional content.
- Provide clerical duties such as answering and resolving phone calls, responding to emails, and preparing documents, including office correspondence, memos, resumes, presentations, and rate adjustments.
- Provide assistance to the president with his high email and phone call/voicemail volume.
- Attend networking, educational seminars, and social functions on behalf of the company.
- Handling confidential and sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or a Bachelor’s degree in business, administration, or a related field.
- Current Health/Life License in Texas or become licensed within first 60 days of position.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Comfortable handling confidential information with discretion.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively.
- Able to receive and apply feedback in the pursuit of excellence.

Compensation:
- $55,000 to $65,000 commensurate on experience
