TZP Group is a Private Equity firm based in midtown Manhattan which invests in lower-middle market companies in the Technology, Business, and Consumer Services and Products sectors. We currently have an opportunity to join us as a member of our outstanding administrative team. Responsibilities:
• Provide administrative support to 4-6 Partners, including but not limited to scheduling internal and external meetings, travel, expense reports, and ad hoc projects.
• Support for all human resource administration, including onboarding, off-boarding, performance management, benefits administration, and any regulatory reporting and compliance.
• Plan and coordinate all internal meetings and events; act as primary lead for agendas and meeting follow up from an assortment of internal and external meetings (eg. regular TZP staff meetings and annual investor meetings).
• Provide primary communication and coordination support for internal and external portfolio recruitment and new hires, including candidate and portfolio leadership communication.
• Support vendor billing and administration.
• Back up Managing Partner's Executive Assistant as needed.
• Plan and coordinate organization and execution of firm team-building events, partner/fund meetings, volunteer events, and other social events and programs.
• Back up receptionist and overall admin team as needed, including but not limited to booking conference rooms for internal and external meetings, meeting and greeting guests, and registering guests in the visitor system.
• Support other administrative functions as needed and other duties as assigned.
• Hours are 8:30am-5:30pm Monday-Friday, with occasional flexibility required.
• Role is in-office, with opportunities for remote work periodically.
Qualifications:
• 5+ years of experience in an administrative capacity, supporting multiple leaders while managing services and projects. College degree preferred.
• Effective communicator, who enjoys working as part of team in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize competing tasks and deadlines.
• Learns and adapts readily to new environments and challenges.
• Excellent judgment and communication skills, with ability to discreetly handle confidential matters.
• Highly proficient in MS Office Suite; familiarity with ADP Workforce Now preferred.
