Position Summary:
AGBO is an artist-led Academy Award-Winning independent studio focused on developing and producing innovative story universes spanning film, TV, and digital platforms. Founded in 2017 by award-winning and record-breaking directors Anthony and Joe Russo, AGBO's mission is to inspire and advance the next generation of storytelling to entertain and influence worldwide audiences. AGBOs recent productions include “Everything Everywhere All At Once,” Netflix's “The Gray Man,” Amazon thriller series “Citadel,” Netflix's sequel, “Extraction 2,” and “The Electric State.”
The Executive Assistant, Television will be supporting the President of Television. The ideal candidate will have previous experience supporting a high-volume desk within a complex, multi-faceted organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the President's calendar and coordinate meetings and appointments with both internal and external participants.
- Screen and respond to heavy incoming call volume and email correspondence.
- Conduct various research duties, including tracking down materials, rights, and contact information.
- Arrange detailed international travel plans and itineraries, compile travel documentation, and prepare expense reports.
- Take detailed transcription of creative calls and conversations as needed, transforming notes into viable documents to be shared with partners and creatives.
- Establish and maintain effective communication with internal employees reporting directly to the President.
- Network professionally with external assistants, coordinators, junior executives, and representatives to build relationships.
- Perform other ad hoc duties, such as filing, typing, and copying documents; prepare agendas, notices, minutes, and resolutions for meetings as required.
- Read and understand materials/documents, extracting critical data and information while maintaining discretion and confidentiality.
Qualifications & Skills:
- 1-2 years experience handling the demands of a high-volume desk in the entertainment industry.
- Proficient in Google Docs, Google Sheets for collaborative work.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Must possess an eye for detail and be an independent creative problem solver.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to network and liaise with various departments and external partners.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritize workload efficiently, and meet strict deadlines in a calm and organized manner.
- Demonstrates good judgment and the ability to handle confidential and sensitive issues.
- Must have a strong work ethic, sense of humor, and an eagerness to learn.
- Familiarity with industry concepts, practices, and procedures a plus, such as relevant software skills and a general understanding of development.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
The typical base salary for this position ranges from $24.00-$27.00 per hour. Actual offers will be determined based on experience.
