To do that, Zeno is developing a next-generation radioisotope power system (RPS) that generates carbon-free, resilient power for decades, utilizing material found in nuclear waste.     Zeno Power is seeking a highly organized and proactive Executive Assistant to support our executive team. This individual will be a critical partner in ensuring the smooth operation of the company's leadership, managing schedules, communications, and key projects with discretion and efficiency.

    In this role you will:

    • Manage complex calendars, scheduling meetings, travel, and events across multiple time zones
    • Prioritize and coordinate executive commitments, ensuring optimal time management
    • Coordinate domestic and international travel arrangements, including flights, lodging, and itineraries
    • Organize and prepare agendas, briefings, and materials for leadership meetings
    • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive company information
    • Track action items and follow up on key initiatives to ensure progress
    • Assist in planning and executing company events, off-sites, and team-building activities
    • Support board meeting and other VIP event logistics

    Qualifications & Skills

    • 5+ years of executive support or administrative experience in a fast-paced environment (experience in startups, aerospace, or energy sectors is a plus)
    • Strong command of Microsoft Office Suite
    • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a dynamic work environment
    • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
    • High level of confidentiality, professionalism, and attention to detail
    • Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a rapidly growing company

    Job Functions

    • Position requires in-office presence in Washington, D.C. (Mt. Vernon/Chinatown) on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, remote work is optional on Mondays and Fridays.
    • Travel: Travel is required, 10-15%
    • Motor Abilities: Sitting and/or standing for extended periods, bending/stooping, grasping/gripping, fine motor control (hands)
    • Physical exertion and/or requirements: Minimal, with ability to safely lift up to 15 pounds
    • Repetitive work: Prolonged
    • Special Senses: Visual and audio focused work
    • Work Conditions: Stairs, typing/keyboard, standard and/or sitting working environment of >8 hrs./day

    Compensation and Benefits

    The anticipated salary band for this position is $86,000–$111,000. The final job level and compensation will be determined by various factors such as a candidate's relevant work experience, years of relevant experience, skills, qualifications, certifications, and other business considerations.
