    We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to maintain our established success and lead our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record as an Executive Chef and can inspire and motivate their team to deliver an exceptional guest experience. The position will oversee all kitchen operations, ensuring the highest quality in food preparation and presentation while maintaining strict cleanliness standards.     RESTAURANT CONCEPT:

    We are crafting an unparalleled dining and lounge experience in the heart of Miami. curated multi-functional space will feature a WORLD CLASS Omakase concept, a state-of-the-art listening lounge, and retail displays featuring products from our existing luxury lifestyle brand. Our culinary program will be overseen by award-winning Chef Bee of Naiyara, Oishi Thai, and many more. Chef Bee is a renowned figure in Miami, as his restaurants are known for having some of the most exclusive, hardest-to-obtain seats.

    At CONFIDENTIAL, our mission is to elevate the luxury lifestyle by offering an intimate and sophisticated wine bar and Omakase experience. With over 50 planned locations in key U.S. cities, we aim to enhance our brand presence and customer loyalty through exclusive venues that transcend our brand's wine portfolio, our signature wine-based cocktails, and curated Omakase seatings by renowned chefs. Our refined settings provide the perfect atmosphere for pre or post-dinner relaxation, featuring a lounge space and a unique 8-seat Omakase bar with daily rotating nigiri selections. Customers can also shop our exclusive brand's retail items, bringing a piece of our luxury experience into their homes. Building on our successful online e-commerce business, this venture marks our first foray into experiential shopping. By integrating our confidential brand into the everyday lives of our customers, we seek to build strong connections, drive online sales, and eventually integrate our concept within premier hotels, enriching the hospitality experience.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Create menus, specials, and portion sizes that align with the restaurant's brand and customer preferences
    • Hire, Tain, and Supervise kitchen staff, and ensure they are properly trained
    • Schedule, train, and supervise kitchen staff, fostering a culture of excellence and attention to detail
    • Oversee food preparation and ensure meals are consistent in quality and presentation
    • Manage inventory and purchase supplies and food from approved vendors
    • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and health code standards, and maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen
    • Control food costs and ensure the kitchen operates within budget
    • Communicate with restaurant managers and owners about kitchen needs, and collaborate with other departments
    • Stay current with industry trends and incorporate new techniques or technologies
    • This role has the potential to evolve into the Brand's culinary director, overseeing multiple locations

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • 2+ years of Executive Chef experience
    • Culinary degree or equivalent professional certification
    • Experience in menu planning, cost control, and inventory management.
    • Financial expertise with P&L statements and labor models is required
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
    • Proven expertise in Japanese cuisine
    • Has leadership experience and the ability to inspire and lead a team
    • Maintain a professional, neat, and well-groomed appearance adhering to Company standards
    • Possesses a deep understanding of fine dining and luxury hospitality
    • May work extended hours irregular shifts, evening and/or weekend shifts, and holiday work may be required
