Shout out to all you Ninja Chefs! Are you ready to hang your chef hat in a trendy high-volume food-centric restaurant that promotes a healthy and professional work environment?
This is a hands-on working chef opportunity, you will take the lead in implementing new recipes, training, and developing the culinary team while maintaining food quality standards and cost controls.
A day in the kitchen:
- Partner with the General Manager and Culinary Director to execute the culinary program.
- Take ownership of cost controls in the kitchen and work with the management team.
- Ensure product quality standards are being met.
- Keep on top of the current culinary trends and techniques.
- On-going training and development with kitchen staff.
- Oversee the safety and sanitation of the kitchen.
- Engage front-of-house staff in the education of the culinary offerings.
- Manage inventory, purchasing, scheduling, and receiving.
The Must Haves:
- 3 + years of culinary management in a high-volume scratch kitchen.
- Proven ability to lead, and mentor a culinary team.
- Strong financial acumen.
- Excellent understanding of restaurant costs and controls
- Professional, humble, and kind personality.
- Strong desire to work within a team environment.
