    We are seeking a creative and experienced Executive Chef to lead the culinary team at our upscale dining restaurant, Gemelle. The Executive Chef will be responsible for overseeing all kitchen operations, menu development, food preparation, and ensuring exceptional culinary experiences for our discerning guests.

    Responsibilities:

    · Develop innovative and seasonal feature dishes that reflect culinary trends, local ingredients, and the restaurants concept while ensuring profitability and guest satisfaction.

    · Oversee daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and plating to maintain consistency and high standards of presentation.

    · Train and Mentor kitchen staff, fostering a culture of creativity, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

    · Maintain rigorous standards of food quality, freshness, and hygiene in compliance with health and safety regulations.

    · Manage food costs with the General Manager and front-of-house team to ensure seamless coordination between kitchen and dining room operations.

    · Source and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure the highest quality of ingredients and favorable pricing.

    Qualifications:

    · Proven experience as an Executive Chef or Chef de Cuisine in a high-end or fine dining restaurant.

    · Creative flair and passion for culinary arts, with strong understanding of modern cooking techniques and trends.

    · Leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse kitchen team.

    · Excellent communication and organization skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

    · Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.

    · A culinary degree from an accredited institution is a plus but not required.

    · Food Manager or Serve Safe Managers Certification is required.
