    Join our culinary team as an Executive Chef and lead the kitchen operations of our bustling casual dining establishment, Woodshed Smokehouse. We are dedicated to providing delicious, high-quality meals in a relaxed and inviting atmosphere. As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of kitchen operations, menu development, and culinary execution. You will lead a team of passionate cooks and kitchen personnel, ensuring consistency in food quality, presentation, and service. This role requires creativity, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences.

    Responsibilities:

    · Manage kitchen personnel, including hiring, training, and scheduling.

    · Supervise food preparation and cooking processes to maintain high culinary standards.

    · Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and food hygiene practices.

    · Monitor food costs and inventory levels to optimize profitability.

    · Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to source high-quality ingredients.

    · Implement and enforce kitchen policies and procedures.

    · Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and storage areas.

    · Stay updated on industry trends and introduce new techniques or concepts to enhance menu offerings.

    Qualifications:

    · Minimum 4 years of proven experience as an Executive Chef in a full-service establishment.

    · Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.

    · Create flair and passion for culinary arts, with a focus on delivering innovative dishes.

    · Excellent communication and organizational skills.

    · Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple priorities.

    · Knowledge of food cost control, inventory management, and kitchen best practices.

    · Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

    · Food Manager or Serve Safe Managers Certification is required.
