We require an effective supervisor who can produce innovative menus and recipes, oversee all food leaving the kitchen, and guarantee health and safety regulations are met. Responsibilities: • Exceed guest expectations while increasing sales and profits and overseeing the success of day-to-day operations of the restaurant kitchen • Supervise all food preparation in the kitchen, including procedures, portioning, garnishing, and ensure that all meals and dishes are attractively presented • Review and track team member performance objectives, as well as offer guidance and assistance to support and promote an efficient kitchen • Teach recruits and hire staff that suit the business culture to provide a welcoming atmosphere for kitchen employees • Control department costs that are under your management, such as food, supplies, uniforms, and equipment, and work with vendors to get the best products at a cost-effective price Qualifications: • Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with guests and coworkers • This role requires 7-8 years of culinary experience • Candidates need a strong understanding of compliance with kitchen safety and food storage requirements • Strong leadership skills with experience leading, motivating, and developing a team • Candidates must have completed high school or received similar certification such as a GED
