We require a supervisor who is capable of overseeing the entire kitchen and ensuring food safety laws are followed, as well as being successful at implementing new menu items and recipes. Passion for food and the ability to inspire others to be innovative and enthusiastic kitchen professionals are highly valued skills. Responsibilities: • Exceed guest expectations while increasing sales and profits and overseeing the success of day-to-day operations of the restaurant kitchen • Incorporate different ingredients in a creative way to produce fresh and innovative menu items and specials • Recruit, train, and lead all kitchen personnel while instilling a sense of teamwork through positive feedback, mentoring, and support • Supervise all food preparation in the kitchen, including procedures, portioning, garnishing, and ensure that all meals and dishes are attractively presented • Control department costs that are under your management, such as food, supplies, uniforms, and equipment, and work with vendors to get the best products at a cost-effective price Qualifications: • At least 7-8 years of culinary experience • This role requires experience building, motivating, and leading a team • Display excellent communication and interpersonal skills with guests and coworkers • Must be able to meet all safety and sanitation requirements of kitchen equipment and food storage • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent GED certification
