    Summary: We are currently seeking an IT Support Specialist to help monitor, maintain, and support restaurant IT systems. In this role, you will prioritize user requirements, oversee system upgrades, and research new tools. The ideal candidate is highly analytical and able to understand business needs. Excellent communication skills and problem-solving abilities are essential.

    Responsibilities:

    Keep POS system functionality and configurations up to date through menu and coupon data management, testing all changes to functionality prior to deployment

    Monitor, maintain, and support all core restaurant systems, including POS, payment terminals, laptops, and tablets

    Provide support and troubleshooting for inventory management systems as needed

    Provide phone support to restaurant managers, including diagnosing and solving equipment and software issues, working directory with POS vendors as needed

    Assist in the deployment of new technology to the restaurants utilizing proven project management methodology

    Assist other teams within I.T. with the design and deployment of new applications, systems, or processes

    Assist other teams within I.T. with diagnosis, review, and resolution of Restaurant Systems issues

    Work closely with restaurant operations to enhance and improve the functionality, design, and configuration of in-store systems and training materials as needed

    Requirements:

    2+ Years of experience with POS Support is required

    Experience with Sicom, Par Brink Aloha preferred

    Basic knowledge of computer networking, PC hardware, Windows; phone and internet troubleshooting is a plus

    Previous help desk or IT support experience is required

    Knowledge and understanding of food/beverage inventory management

    College Degree preferred

    Ability to communicate effectively and professionally, both written and verbal, with all levels of the organization

    Able to adapt quickly to changes, including new systems, applications, and processes

    Strong problem-solving skills

    Excellent customer service skills

    Ability to work independently
