Freedom Home Care, a trusted provider of home care services in Southern Minnesota and the Twin Cities area, is seeking a driven Executive Director to lead operations at our Mankato Headquarters. This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on management to ensure the delivery of exceptional home care services.
The Executive Director will oversee and lead the day-to-day operations of Freedom Home Care’s headquarters in Mankato, MN. This individual will play a pivotal role in strategic planning, operational leadership, and fostering a culture of excellence. The role requires strong leadership, business development skills, and the ability to ensure seamless coordination between administrative teams, caregivers, and clients.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership
Oversee day-to-day operations of Freedom Home Care headquarters.
Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and quality standards.
Lead and mentor administrative and support teams, including schedulers, care coordinators, and managers.
Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and client satisfaction.
Client Services and Quality Assurance
Uphold the highest standard of client care, ensuring that clients' needs are consistently met.
Work closely with RNs, Case Managers, and the Care Coordination team to assess client care needs and resolve issues promptly.
Monitor client feedback and implement improvements to enhance service quality.
Strategic Business Development
Develop and maintain relationships with referral partners, including healthcare providers, assisted living facilities, and community organizations.
Represent Freedom Home Care in the community by participating in local events and networking opportunities.
Team Management and Support
Hire, train, and retain key administrative team members and ensure their success in their roles.
Conduct performance evaluations, implement improvement plans, and provide ongoing coaching.
Collaborate with the HR team to ensure proper caregiver recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies.
Financial Oversight
Monitor key financial metrics, including revenue growth, caregiver utilization, and operational costs.
Work with ownership to align goals with company-wide financial strategies and initiatives.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field preferred (equivalent experience considered).
3+ years of experience in leadership roles within healthcare, home care, or a related industry.
Proven ability to drive growth, oversee operations, and lead high-performing teams.
Strong relationship-building skills with clients, staff, and community partners.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM systems, and operational tools (e.g., scheduling software like AxisCare).
Strong analytical, communication, and decision-making skills.

Compensation and Benefits
Base Salary: $80,000 - $90,000 annually (DOE)
Bonus Structure: Performance-based incentives tied to company growth
