    The World Equestrian Center, located in Ocala Florida is seeking a Executive Housekeeper to join our team. Lead housekeeping operations at hotel. The ideal candidate should possess strong organizational, leadership, communication, time management, and team-building skills to ensure the efficient operation of housekeeping activities.

    Essential Functions:

    • Assumes responsibility for the cleanliness of the hotel guest rooms, public spaces, lobby areas, public restrooms, corridors, and the restaurants inside the Riding Academy.
    • Maintain par stock of guest supplies, cleaning supplies, linen and uniforms.
    • Develop and implement housekeeping systems and procedures.
    • Prepare reports for management information.
    • Coordinating the preventive maintenance schedule of rooms and public areas with the maintenance department.
    • Monitors and manages the payroll function. Ensure staffing levels cover business demands.
    • Collaborate and communicate effectively with other departments to support mutual success.
    • Ensures that all policies and procedures are followed according to our handbook and regulations.
    • Maintain positive employee relations to include coaching, counseling, employment status changes (transfer, promotion), on-going training, and development according to Columbus Hospitality’s Policy and Procedure.
    • Oversee department purchasing of all operating supplies. Monitor Cost Per Occupied Room and keep within budget based on variable business levels.
    • Helps anywhere in hotel when needed.
    • Ensure that safety protocols and sanitation standards are followed.
    • Responsible for recruiting, interviewing, and selecting new hires to join the housekeeping team.
    • Customer satisfaction is #1 priority
    • Act as the Manager on Duty in the hotel when senior managers are not present.
    • Maintain a flexible work schedule including Nights, Weekends, and Holidays.
    • Create S.O.P.’s and revise existing ones as needed.
    • Maintain constant communication with front office, TACK Room and engineering departments.
    • Maintain key inventory and controls. Perform scheduled and unscheduled inspection of the hotel.
