Responsibilities: • Supervise all food preparation in the kitchen, including procedures, portioning, garnishing, and ensure that all meals and dishes are attractively presented • Manage controllable department expenses such as food, supplies, uniforms, equipment, and collaborate with vendors to achieve the highest quality products at the most reasonable price • Establish a collaborative environment for kitchen workers by educating recruits and hiring personnel that fit the corporate culture • Incorporate different ingredients in a creative way to produce fresh and innovative menu items and specials • Exceed guest expectations while increasing sales and profits and overseeing the success of day-to-day operations of the restaurant kitchen • Set and monitor performance criteria for team members, as well as provide advice and direction to support and maintain an efficient kitchen • Monitor perpetual inventory daily, record food inventory on monthly basis • Strong Knowledge of Cooking Methods, Kitchen equipment, and best production practices • Candidates must possess A.O.S. degree in Culinary Science or relevant field • Good understanding MS Office Suite and POS software programs • Reporting and Recording Inventory, Personnel Issues, Schedule, Production Notes Qualifications: • Display excellent communication and interpersonal skills with guests and coworkers • Must be able to meet all safety and sanitation requirements of kitchen equipment and food storage • This role requires experience building, motivating, and leading a team • This role requires 7-8 years of culinary experience • Candidates must have completed A.O.S. degree in Culinary Science or a relevant field • Good understanding of MS Office Suite and POS Software Programs • Minimum of 4 years experience in White Table Cloth Restaurant /Hotel / Resort • Strong knowledge of cooking methods, kitchen equipment, and best production practices Compensation: $55,000
