Executive Vice President of Finance - Independently Owned Insurance Agency - Base Salary to 120k/year - Union, NJ

• Our client, a growing independent agency, has an immediate need for a Executive Vice President of Finance to join their team. This agency prides itself on its white-glove customer service approach while maintaining a family operated feel.
• The Executive Vice President of Finance is the visionary leader driving the company's financial future. The Executive Vice President of Finance has a high-impact role oversees all strategic financial initiatives, from crafting and executing bold business plans to mastering budgeting, forecasting, and risk management. Serving as a key architect of governance structures, the Executive Vice President of Finance plays a pivotal role in shaping the company's success and ensuring it thrives in a competitive landscape.

Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership, direction, and management to the finance team while providing recommendations to the executive leadership team regarding agency fiscal health and budget management.
• Supervise finance department personnel.
• Preparation of financial forecasting reports for senior leadership.
• Prepare reconciliations in the Agency Management System in conjunction with invoices and/or statements received from insurance carriers in accordance with payment terms.
• Act as primary contact with insurance carriers on all financial matters.
• Generate payments for vendor payable accounts.

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of financial experience in the insurance industry.
• Knowledge of insurance practices and agency operations.
• Knowledge of AMS360 insurance software is a huge plus. (willing to train if needed)
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Compensation:

• Base salary to 120k/year.
• Ability to participate in company revenue sharing plan.
