Northeast Philadelphia pediatric dental office looking for Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) to join our team on a short term (2 - 4 month) basis. 5-day work week, with 1 evening per week (22+ hours per week). No weekends.

We are a single doctor practice with tight knit team that has been serving the community for over 35 years.

The ideal candidate is hard working, a team player, detail-oriented, reliable, and able to communicate well with both patients and colleagues.

Duties include:

Chairside assisting

Take impressions and x-rays

Perform sealants and fillings

Fabricate chairside space maintainers

Coordinating patient care with front desk

Lab work as needed

Required qualifications:

Current licensure as an EFDA in the state of Pennsylvania

Demonstrated desire to work in a pediatric setting

Radiology certification

CPR certification

Preferred qualifications:

At least 1-2 years of experience as an EFDA

Speaking a foreign language is helpful
