    Vert Environmental is Hiring an Expansion and Marketing Associate – Hybrid Role! We are looking for a motivated Expansion and Marketing Associate to help grow our sales team and win new business within a defined territory. In this role, you'll attend our training programs and work alongside a sales team focused on both new and existing clients, helping to grow the company and improve employees' lives with top-tier benefits offerings across the hire-to-retire spectrum. You will cultivate strong relationships with Human Resources and executive decision-makers, set appointments, gather leads from internal partners, and assess their needs to present the right solutions. Your ability to manage multiple marketing processes at different stages in the sales cycle will be key. You'll document these processes and follow through to implementation, ensuring new business is up and running smoothly. Benefits: • Medical, Dental, Vision • Paid Vacation/Sick Time • 401(k) • Various discounts on travel/entertainment/wellness/gym membership, etc. Responsibilities: • Expand the team and business: You will work within a defined, protected territory to close sales, win business, and reach sales goals by implementing a top-down sales strategy • Turn Prospects into Loyal and Referring Clients: You will earn referral business by networking with existing and soon-to-be clients and forging partnerships in person and over the phone with decision-makers • Deepen Relationships Across the Vert Family: In addition to cloud-based marketing solutions, you will strategically cross-sell with other Vert associates to cultivate additional business within existing accounts; you will make life-long friendships here • Collaborate Daily. You will serve as a trusted advisor, partner, and Vert ambassador to your clients, internal partners, and overall network while demonstrating grace under pressure and the highest ethical standards • Follow the team plan • Set and close appointments • Sales talk mastery Qualifications: • Positive Self-Starter. You have an upbeat, persistent style and the ability to cold call without fear of rejection. You can manage your time well, prioritize deliverables, and multi-task with the best of them. In addition, you can present your ideas in a clear, professional manner on paper, in person, and over the phone • Strategic Closer. You have an established network and experience carrying a quota in outside business-to-business sales. You have an impressive track record of closing sales, winning clients, and managing a territory and relationships • Proven Winner. You have an ambitious spirit and thrive under pressure, motivating you to not only hit sales quotas but exceed them • A college degree is great but not required. What's more important is having the skills to do the job • Three years of business-to-business sales experience within a results-driven environment. • Good communication • Must have working rights in the USA • Must live in San Diego, CA • 21 years or older • Income is salary plus commission and benefits Compensation: $65,000 - $130,000 plus benefits
