    Director of Operations

    Lead and manage hourly and salaried production employees, ensuring safety, quality, and cost-efficiency.

    Responsibilities:

    • Ensure plant safety and implement corporate safety initiatives.
    • Oversee production, quality, and cost-control to meet customer requirements and profit objectives.
    • Collaborate with sales and product development for new/improved products.
    • Ensure compliance with GMP, FDA, and ISO regulations.
    • Manage plant financial performance (P&L responsibility).
    • Oversee staffing, operational efficiency, and maintenance.
    • Implement and document cost management best practices.
    • Plan and execute capital projects.
    • Develop and optimize operational policies and procedures.
    • Maximize ROI through effective use of SAP.
    • Analyze and communicate operational metrics.
    • Communicate goals and expectations to plant employees.
    • Implement programs to meet business plan goals.
    • Advise Senior Management on operational issues.
    • Promote transparency and effective communication.
    • Manage human resources and physical plant assets.
    • Lead and coach direct reports; provide performance feedback.
    • Ensure employee development and training.

    Qualifications:

    • 15+ years in Operations Management within manufacturing.
    • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (MBA preferred).
    • Experience in engineering, operations, and tissue making.
    • Proficiency in warehouse management, SOP development, and high-speed consumer product manufacturing.
    • Strong safety and quality management systems knowledge.
    • Proven leadership and team development skills.
    • Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement expertise.
    • Strong financial, organizational, and time management skills.
    • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
    • Ability to prioritize, make decisions, and develop action plans.
    • Skilled in identifying and developing top talent.
