Express Employment Professionals is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join a finance team in a manufacturing company. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in financial accounting and regulatory reporting, with a focus on accuracy and compliance. This role is crucial in maintaining the financial integrity of our organization and supporting various accounting functions, including tax preparation and corporate finance.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections.
• Perform double entry bookkeeping to ensure all financial transactions are recorded accurately.
• Conduct regulatory reporting to comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with tax laws.
• Support financial report writing for internal stakeholders, providing insights into financial performance.
• Implement accrual accounting practices to accurately reflect the company’s financial position.
• Collaborate with private equity teams to provide necessary financial data for investment analysis.
• Assist in audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations as required.

Requirements :

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven experience in financial accounting or related roles.
• Strong knowledge of LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) regulations is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with corporate finance principles and practices.
• Proficiency in double entry bookkeeping and accrual accounting methods.
• Experience with regulatory reporting requirements is essential.
• Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective financial report writing.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
