Join us on this journey of growth! We are looking for an Associate with experience in Elder Law & Estate Planning. The ideal candidate will take initiative, work autonomously, and manage a caseload efficiently. This full-time position may evolve into a remote-hybrid role for self-starters. Compensation will be based on experience, with opportunities for growth and bonus incentives based on performance. Responsibilities: • Conduct thorough legal research using a variety of tools and resources in preparing cases and developing strategies effectively. • Draft legal documents, including pleadings, briefs, life and estate planning instruments, and contracts, with precision and meticulous attention to detail. • Support in preparing Medicaid applications in a timely and accurate manner. • Efficiently manage and organize case files, documents, and evidence to ensure smooth workflow and easy access when needed. • Maintain professional and courteous communication with clients, witnesses, and court personnel to facilitate seamless case proceedings. • Stay updated on current laws, regulations, and industry trends by effectively utilizing legal research software to provide valuable insights to the legal team. Qualifications: • Previous experience in Elder Law & Estate Planning is highly desirable for this position in Hackensack, NJ, US. • Familiarity with Real Estate Transactions is a plus for the role of associate in this firm. • The ideal candidate should have 2-5 years of relevant experience or Chancery clerkship in New Jersey preferred. • Attention to detail is a crucial quality required for this associate role. • Proficiency in following instructions accurately is a key skill needed for this position. • Knowledge and proficiency in Legal Research Software are important qualifications for this job. Compensation: $80,000 - $100,000 yearly
