612North has two beautifully unique event spaces located right next to the Arch, and we are looking for high energy, positive, and professional front of the house team for our stellar events! We host a wide range of events such as weddings, corporate meetings, charity galas, auctions, fashion shows, etc.
The front of the house team ensures all guests are provided with prompt and friendly service according to 612North standards by working with team members to ensure overall guest satisfaction.
Responsibilities

Responsible for all table service duties as well as prep work and closing tasks
Responsible for maintaining a clean, safe and organized workplace
Clear understanding and communication with the food and beverage manager
Run food from kitchen to the event space on demand
Set up buffets with food presentation standards, ensuring safe food handling performance
Serve hors d’oeuvres and plated dinners to guests
Serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests, if need be
Follows all federal, state and local laws, codes and regulations outlined by management and the 612North Employee Handbook
Skills and Abilities
Knowledge of table service standards
Knowledge of appropriate table settings and service ware
Ability to describe all menu items and methods of preparation
Outgoing person acting as an ambassador of company values, mission, image to the public at all times
Excellent communication skills
Ability to multitask and show flexibility during high volume periods
Ability to work positively in a fast-paced environment
Ability to be on your feet and alert for extended periods of time
Ability to work effectively within a team
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed
Required Qualifications
18 years or older
Education: High School or equivalent
High Energy and Passion for the industry
1 + years professional front of the house experience in full-service food and beverage establishment preferred
Knowledge of catering practices
Reliable transportation
Demonstrated time management and organizational skills
Must be able to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends and holidays
