    We are seeking a skilled and creative Carpenter to join our team! We are a local Deck Builder focusing on high end residential deck construction and outdoor living. Bring your expertise in luxury deck construction, attention to detail, and commitment to excellence.

    Responsibilities:

    1. Interpret and follow blueprints, ensuring accurate execution of deck designs.

    2. Measure and cut materials with precision to meet project specifications.

    3. Install and secure support structures, ensuring stability and safety.

    4. Utilize various tools and equipment for cutting, shaping, and assembling deck components.

    5. Collaborate with clients and project managers to understand design preferences and specifications.

    6. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols.

    7. Troubleshoot and resolve issues during construction, ensuring a high-quality finished product.

    8. Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and techniques for continuous improvement.

    9. Provide guidance and training to junior team members when applicable.

    10. Comply with building codes, regulations, and safety standards throughout the construction process.

    11. Communicate effectively with clients to address questions, concerns, and modifications during the project.

    12. Ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining quality workmanship.

    Qualifications:

    HS Diploma or GED

    Valid Drivers license with clean driving record to operate company vehicles

    Previous experience as a Carpenter is preferred

    Previous experience operating skid steer

    Attention to detail

    Time management skills

    Strong understanding of mathematical concepts and measurements

    Excellent problem solving skills to troubleshoot and address issues during construction

    Ability to read and take action on blueprints

    Ability to safely operate hand and power carpentry tools

    Knowledge of building regulations and codes

    Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects

    Physical fitness and stamina to handle the demands of manual labor
