Responsibilities:
Conduct site assessments and inspections of damaged infrastructure
Develop Damage Description and Dimensions (DDD) and provide supporting documentation for work orders
Develop scopes of work and cost estimates using knowledge
Develop and implement disaster recovery plans
Prepare reports and documentation.
Qualifications/Skills:
Minimum of 5 years of experience and a bachelor's degree in your field from an accredited university
Professional licenses and certifications (such as P.E. license, PMP, etc.) are preferred.
Experience working in commercial and public facilities, including roads, bridges, water/wastewater treatment facilities, schools, environmental planning and municipal buildings.
Strong Microsoft Office Skills, excellent written skills, and excellent oral communication skills
Experience and comfortability using a Smart Phone
The ability to deploy to any location within a 24–48-hour notice
The ability to go on 6–12-month deployments at a minimum
Sound technical knowledge base of discipline’s standard concepts, principles, and techniques
The ability to work independently, in a team environment, and under stressful conditions with tight deadlines
Preferred Experience:
Working in commercial and public facilities: 5 years
FEMA Public Assistance: 5 years
License in surveying, construction or FEMA Project Mgmt.
Professional Engineering license
