    Our law firm is now in search of an experienced Family Law Attorney to join our highly-regarded hybrid/remote team. This exciting opportunity enables the successful candidate to benefit from the guidance and expertise of the firm's experienced members. Day-to-day duties will include providing legal counsel to clients, carrying out legal research, devising and drafting documents, and ensuring all client files are up to date. We are looking for a professional who is passionate about working in a team environment, driven by client satisfaction and achievement of collective goals. Please note that only attorneys with Georgia Family Law experience who are barred in the state of Georgia are being considered at this time. We offer an attractive compensation package which includes the following for the successful candidate: • Medical, Vision, and Dental Insurance • Performance Bonuses and Incentives • 401(k) with Match • PTO • Professional Development Opportunities • Short Term Disability Responsibilities: • Conduct legal research, prepare for and attend hearings and/or other legal proceedings, and provide legal counsel with the help of other attorneys • Enjoys working for and with people of diverse, ethnic, racial, and religious backgrounds • Conduct client case assessments • Supervise paralegal staff • Create and/or edit legal documents, including correspondence, briefs, motions, pleadings, contracts, affidavits, and settlement agreements for contract negotiations and proceedings • Learn and follow firm policies and procedures • Meet monthly billable hour requirements • Representing clients in court appearances • Collaborate with clients, senior associates, and other staff to move cases toward resolution efficiently • Keep files organized to make sure the most recent updates are accessible to other attorneys, paralegals, and staff • Prepare correspondence and legal documents such as contracts, pleadings, briefs, affidavits, motions, and settlement agreements for contract negotiations and proceedings • Assist clients in determining a proper solution to legal conflicts and determine the best course of action • Conduct legal research, prepare for and attend hearings and/or other legal proceedings, and provide legal counsel with the help of senior associate attorneys Qualifications: • Must have a Georgia bar license in good standing • At least 5 years of practicing as an attorney in Georgia family law required • Probate experience is a plus • Solid communication skills and problem-solving skills are required in order to work with clients, staff members, and other attorneys • Ability to work through a case from open to close • Strives for excellence • Ability to be empathetic, compassionate, but tenacious • Exceptional communication skills and problem-solving skills are needed in order to work with all levels of staff and clients Compensation: $120,000 - $140,000 plus bonuses
