Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Floor Layer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of various flooring materials and installation techniques. As a Floor Layer, you will be responsible for ensuring precise and high-quality installation of flooring in both residential and commercial settings.

Compensation:

Responsibilities:

Measure and cut flooring materials to fit designated areas

Prepare surfaces for flooring installation, including cleaning, leveling, and smoothing

Install a variety of flooring materials such as hardwood, laminate, vinyl, carpet, and tile

Ensure all flooring is installed according to manufacturer specifications and industry standards

Follow safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment

Collaborate with project managers and other team members to ensure timely completion of projects

Perform finishing tasks such as sealing, grouting, and trimming

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Floor Layer or in a similar role

Proficiency in using flooring tools and equipment

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Physical stamina and ability to lift and carry heavy materials

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
