Experienced Full-Time Nanny - Edmond OK $46,800 - $72,800 per year

Seeking an experienced, kind, and engaging nanny for a family with a 3-year-old child. This is a long-term role, ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on learning, values open communication, and is comfortable managing a busy household with occasional travel and pets.

Ideal Candidate:

• Engaging, kind, and patient with children.
• Prior experience working with toddlers and preschoolers.
• Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Willing to be flexible with scheduling and assist in a dynamic, busy household.
• Comfortable with occasional overnight care and travel.
• Having a Montessori Background is a huge plus!

Responsibilities:

• Provide loving, attentive care for the child, engaging in activities that promote learning, play, and creativity.
• Follow the pre-k through kindergarten curriculum set by the parents.
• Support learning by doing imaginative play, and outdoor activities, with minimal screen time.
• Assist with light household tasks related to the child (tidying play areas, preparing simple meals, etc.).
• Care for the family’s two small dogs when needed.

• Transportation to appointments or activities.

Start Date: ASAP

Pay Rate: $30-$35 per hour, based on experience.

Schedule:

• Monday, Wednesday, and Friday (flexible).
• Hours: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM (flexible, 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM).
• Occasional Date Night: 6:00 PM - 10:00 PM (regular, flexible).

• Guaranteed minimum of 30 hours per week.

Requirements:

• Must have a valid driver’s license and a reliable car.
• Comfortable with pets (two Bichons) and willing to help care for them when necessary.
• Non-smoker.
• Be available for occasional travel with the family or childcare when parents are away
• Provide 3-5 professional references.
