    Dependable Health Services is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Medical Biller with experience in Home Health and/or Hospice billing. In this vital role, you’ll help ensure our patients receive the care they deserve by managing accurate, timely billing and claim processes.

    We’re looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys problem-solving, and understands the importance of precision in healthcare billing.

    What You'll Do:

    • Review and verify medical documentation to ensure compliance with coding regulations and insurance requirements

    • Apply accurate ICD-10 and CPT codes for home health and hospice services

    • Prepare, submit, and track claims to Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurance providers

    • Monitor claim status and follow up on unpaid or denied claims

    • Resolve billing discrepancies by collaborating with healthcare providers, insurance companies, and patients

    • Stay current with changing billing regulations, coding updates, and payer requirements

    • Assist with insurance authorizations and pre-certifications

    • Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations

    • Work closely with the billing team to identify process improvements and promote efficiency

    What We’re Looking For:

    • Proven experience in medical billing for Home Health or Hospice services

    • Strong knowledge of medical coding (ICD-10, CPT) and insurance billing guidelines

    • Familiarity with Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurance billing

    • Proficiency with billing software, EMR systems, and Microsoft Office

    • Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills

    • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively

    • High school diploma or equivalent (post-secondary education in medical billing preferred)

    • Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and confidentiality standards

    • Ability to adapt quickly in a dynamic healthcare environment
