    The Installation Technician reports to the Installation Manager and is responsible for performing a range of HVACR installation jobs for industrial, commercial, and residential customers. Customer-based activities require an individual possessing traits of decisiveness, initiative, tact, judgment, integrity, dependability, and the ability to communicate in a technically credible manner. Job-related contact can occur with virtually all demographic groups, with the majority of working contacts being customers, other technicians, the Installation Manager, the Estimator and the Parts Runner.

    **Responsibilities: **

    • Install HVAC systems, including heating, air conditioning, and ventilation equipment
    • Interpret blueprints, installation manuals, and work orders to determine material requirements and installation procedures
    • Measure and layout installation areas accurately
    • Connect systems to fuel and water supply lines, air ducts, and other components
    • Test installed systems to ensure they function properly and make necessary adjustments
    • Ensure all work complies with current HVAC codes and safety standards
    • Communicate effectively with customers and team members to ensure customer satisfaction
    • Complete all required documentation and reports accurately and on time

    Required Qualifications:

    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • Valid driver's license and insurable by the company’s insurance carrier
    • Minimum of 2-5 years of HVAC installation experience
    • Strong understanding of HVAC systems, components, and installation procedures
    • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical manuals
    • Proficiency in using HVAC tools and equipment
    • Good communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
    • Commitment to safety and adherence to safety protocols

    Physical Demands:

    • Ability to lift and carry up to 100 pounds
    • Comfortable working from ladders and in confined spaces
    • Manual dexterity to manipulate tools and equipment
    • Ability to work in various weather conditions

    **Work Environment: **

    • Exposure to outdoor environments and extreme temperatures
    • Occasional high levels of dust and noise
    • On-site work at residential and commercial locations
