    The Smith Region of Modern Woodmen is actively looking for a new representative to spearhead the development and leadership of a team of financial representatives across Greater Dallas and North/East Texas.

    This role is especially well-suited for individuals with experience in any of the following:

    Financial services

    Life insurance

    Property & casualty insurance

    Led by Regional Manager Tim Smith—a leader known for his servant-hearted approach, deep commitment to mentoring others, and passion for community. Tim’s story is rooted in family, service, and gratitude. In his words:

    “My family includes my beautiful and supportive wife, Lauren, and our dachshund-pit bull (“Pit-Weenie”) rescue, Lucy. I am the youngest of three brothers. My father served in the Air Force for 24 years before devoting himself to community service in his hometown, and my wonderful mother now works as one of my administrative assistants after a career in dental hygiene.”

    Key Responsibilities:

    Serve Members' Financial Needs: Meet individuals, families, and business owners to understand their financial goals and challenges. Offer personalized guidance across areas like protection planning, retirement, and investments—always focused on building trust and long-term value.

    Lead by Example in the Community: Represent Modern Woodmen as a values-driven leader by actively participating in local events, charitable efforts, and volunteer initiatives. Demonstrate our commitment to fraternalism and community service while strengthening visibility and goodwill in the region.

    Drive Local Office Growth: Play a key role in expanding the office by identifying, attracting, and onboarding high-potential financial representatives. Foster a strong pipeline of talent by leading recruiting efforts and sharing the mission and opportunity of Modern Woodmen with others.

    Qualifications:

    Minimum of a Life Insurance License and/or SIE Certification (one or both required)

    Series 26 (or 24) License (preferred)

    Leadership skills and effective communication ability

    Strong background in business development and customer service, with the desire and ability to lead others

    Training and Development:

    New representatives receive comprehensive training through Modern Woodmen University and have opportunities for both in-person and Zoom leadership training sessions. Following foundational training, the local team is committed to providing extensive field and office support to new Managing Partners. This hands-on approach continues until the MP achieves self-sufficiency in both skills and development.
