    Position Overview: As an Optometric Assistant, you will be the first point of contact for our patients and play a vital role in delivering exceptional service. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, customer service, and organizational skills.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Greet and check-in patients with a warm and professional demeanor.

    Schedule and confirm appointments efficiently.

    Assist patients with contact lenses.

    Perform pre-testing and diagnostic procedures, including visual acuity tests, retinal imaging, and tonometry.

    Maintain accurate patient records and ensure all documentation is up-to-date.

    Educate patients about eye care products, procedures, and services.

    Handle insurance verifications and billing inquiries.

    Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth clinic operations.

    Qualifications:

    Proven experience as an Optometric Assistant.

    Strong multitasking and organizational skills.

    Detail-oriented and patient-focused.

    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

    Knowledge of optical terminology and procedures.

    Proficient in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
