The firm is looking for a well-rounded candidate who can manage a high volume of cases, who is an effective communicator, incredibly organized, and self-motivated. We are hiring for our FL, Ft. Lauderdale, FL, and Starke, FL locations. This is a fully onsite position. Responsibilities: • Advise attorneys with cost and time-effective recommendations to accomplish the client’s goals • Examine legal documents to assure all legal requirements have been met • Interface with staff, attorneys, and outside vendors to manage the law firm’s case load, present case summaries/updates, and ensure that deadlines are met • Draw up legal documents for attorney review • Support attorneys with all aspects of case management, including billing, docketing deadlines, and providing reminders as needed • Must be proactive and driven to close tasks and activities Qualifications: • Effective organizational and communication skills, both written and oral, are needed • Ability to multitask and stay self-motivated • Proficient in word processing, spreadsheet presentation, and case management software • Legal research and legal document drafting experience is critical • Must be proficient with MS Office and legal case management systems • Must be Bilingual English/Spanish • Experienced in handling a high caseload of litigation Personal Injury cases • 5 plus years of paralegal Litigation Personal Injury experience
