We are growing fast and we need an experienced personal injury paralegal who can hit the ground running. We need a paralegal with experience in Personal Injury law in the State of Tennessee. The ideal candidate will be able to take initiative on work that needs to be done and complete tasks with minimal hand-holding. This is a part-time hybrid remote position that may quickly turn into full-time where you are expected to manage a caseload. Initial employment compensation will be based on your experience, with opportunities for increases after that. There is an opportunity for bonus compensation for those who can demonstrate their profitability. Responsibilities: • Arrange law office activity such as drafting subpoenas and coordinating with process servers • Draft legal documents, pleadings, and correspondence such as interrogatories, subpoenas, deposition notices, complaints, pretrial orders, legal briefs, and affidavits under the guidance of a lawyer • Gather information about legal issues from the client in interviews • Aid lawyers in trial preparation by preparing and organizing exhibits, organizing and coordinating witnesses, conducting research on legal articles, and assisting with client meetings and filing motions • Organize our case filing systems to ensure all documents are properly sorted and easy to locate, and other administrative duties as needed Qualifications: • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Personal Injury Law. • Substantial experience with State of Tennessee personal injury civil litigation. • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, especially in high-stakes or emotional situations. • Possess strong negotiation and organizational abilities. • Work closely with senior partners and other staff to ensure swift action through civil litigation processes. • Ability to work independently and manage a caseload with minimal supervision. • A client-focused mindset with a commitment to providing superior service. Compensation: $40 - $50 hourly
