We are searching for experienced Pet Groomers - One Leading Manger and Two Staff Groomers - to join the team at our up and coming, all holistic pet spa in historic San Marco! If you are tired of working in a drama filled, uncomfortable and/or corporate environment, we are a family run, super established mom 'n pop that has been in business for over four decades. Responsibilities
Brush and detangle or remove matted fur
Bathe dogs and dry coat
Execute a variety of clipping techniques and style requests
Examine for parasites or other skin conditions
Trim nails
Ensure the safety of dogs at all times
Adhere to strict sanitary and cleaning procedures
Communicate effectively and compassionately with pet owners
Qualifications
Previous experience as a dog grooming technician or similar role
Comfortable working with anxious animals
Ability to stand for long periods and lift large dogs over 60 pounds
Willingness to learn new techniques and participate in continuing education
Able to communicate effectively with coworkers and dog owners
Strong attention to detail
