Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Press Brake Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of press brake machinery, sheet metal fabrication, and quality control standards. This position requires an individual who is detail-oriented, dependable, and committed to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate and set up press brake machinery to form, bend, and shape metal components to precise specifications.
Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical drawings to determine material requirements and machine settings.
Perform routine maintenance checks and troubleshoot issues with press brake equipment.
Measure and inspect parts using calipers, gauges, and other precision tools to ensure quality standards are met.
Collaborate with team members to optimize workflows and achieve production deadlines.
Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
Maintain accurate records of production and quality control checks.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a press brake operator (5+ years preferred).
Proficient in reading blueprints and technical drawings.
Strong understanding of sheet metal properties and fabrication processes.
Skilled in using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and height gauges.
Ability to set up and program CNC press brake machines is highly desirable.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods in a manufacturing environment.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under minimal supervision.
