We are seeking a skilled and experienced Probate Litigation Attorney to join our legal team. In this role, you will represent clients in contested probate and trust matters, handling disputes related to wills, trusts, estates, and fiduciary responsibilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of estate planning, probate law, and the court processes involved in challenging wills, disputing trusts, and resolving other related conflicts. This is a remote position. Our main office is located in San Diego. Responsibilities: • Represent clients in probate litigation matters, including will contests, trust disputes, and estate-related conflicts. • Analyze, prepare, and present cases in probate court, including trial preparation and client advocacy. • Conduct legal research on probate, trust, and estate law, staying current on legal developments. • Draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, petitions, and discovery requests. • Provide guidance to clients on their rights, options, and strategies for resolving estate-related disputes. • Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and staff to effectively manage caseloads and meet client needs. Qualifications: • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. • Licensed to practice law in [State]. • 5+ years of experience in probate litigation, estate planning, or related fields. • Strong knowledge of probate court procedures, wills, trusts, and estate laws. • Excellent written and oral communication skills. • Demonstrated ability to advocate effectively in court and during negotiations. • Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Compensation: $180,000+ based on experience
