    What You’ve Accomplished

    You have completed a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Science, or related field, or directly related work experience in lieu of degree. You may have also obtained an advanced degree in similar fields. You have worked in a related system administration role for at least 5 **** years and are ready to join Framatome and help deliver clean, safe energy and advance nuclear technology.

    • Advanced knowledge of Linux systems (Ubuntu/RedHat) and support experience

You will leverage your skills and experience to be part of an innovative team and make a difference for our customers. As an Experienced Systems Administrator in Richland, WA, you will be part of the proven team in the Fuel Business Unit. Your work will include:

    • Configure and support multiple VMware clustered environments

    • Manage multiple fibre/iSCSI SAN systems

    • Support to domain wide backups, patching, and recovery of diverse operating systems

    • Provide Linux systems administration support

    • Administer the manufacturing Active Directory Domain of Windows systems

    • Manage/audit domain users, OU’s, and policies to ensure a secure and productive compute environment

    • Report and forecast on site needs in processing and storage requirements

    • Assist in all technology projects as requested

    • Create and maintain procedures supporting systems administration for manufacturing

    • Act as a project mentor and interface with internal customers and technical experts

    • Train junior systems administrators in advance techniques and procedures

    • Provide afterhours support when required

    Framatome’s Richland, WA facility is a licensed nuclear fuel manufacturing site and complies with US Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) and US Department of Energy (DOE) regulations. This position is safety-sensitive and pre-employment drug/alcohol screening is required. Any employment offer is contingent upon the successful completion of a background investigation.

    Your Total Rewards Package

    The range of base salary for the position is between $90,000- $122,000, and may also include annual incentives, performance bonuses and benefits. Please note that the base salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.

  • Qualifications
    • Reads, interprets and understands blueprints and operation sheets.
    • Performs functions to set up and operate standard types of machines to complete single or progressive operations on standard parts. Machines could include lathes, milling machines, grinders, drill presses, hobs, hones, kummers, burnishers or balancers
    • Maybe required to assists less experience machinists
    • Must have working knowledge of shop math, be able to read blueprints, and understand operation sheets
    • Must be capable of using a wide variety of precision measuring instruments
