The ideal candidate is an individual who has courtroom experience, is vested in every case and is self-motivated. The ideal candidate will also have strong written and oral advocacy, effective caseload management, and excitement to be a member of a team breaking barriers on what a modern firm can be and should be. We offer multiple perks and benefits, such as: • Health Insurance/Vision Insurance /Dental Insurance • Retirement Benefits • Paid time off • Paid government holidays • Generous PTO schedule Responsibilities: • Defend clients in immigration court proceedings and USCIS interviews • Develop legal strategies, draft briefs, motions, and other court documents • Conduct interviews with clients, collect evidence, and prepare witnesses for court testimonies • Provide guidance to clients by assessing alternatives and selecting the most advantageous course of action • Work collaboratively with the legal support team to oversee and guide workflows Qualifications: • Must hold a license to practice law granted by the highest court of any state • Proficiency in Spanish is preferred but not required • Excellent advocacy and courtroom presentation skills • Ability to handle a fast-paced case load • Commitment to social justice and a passion for helping members of our community Compensation: $120,000 - $150,000 yearly
